ANNE WHEATON

After 17 years as a hairdresser, Anne Wheaton retired from her career to focus full time on her true passions: her love of rescue pets and helping her fellow humans. For the past 4 years, she has served as a Director for the Pasadena Humane Society, and as an Ambassador for National Women’s Health Week through the U.S. Health Department’s Office On Women’s Health. She also manages a non-profit she and her husband started, The Foundation To Increase Awesome. Her passion for animals led her to write her first children’s book, Piggy and Pug, to share the joy of having pets as part of your family.
