Emily Devenport has published multiple short stories and novels under three different pen names; Emily Devenport, Maggy Thomas, and Lee Hogan. Her novels include Shade, Larissa, The Kronos Condition, and Broken Time which was nominated for the Philip K. Dick Award. She has been published in the U.S., U.K., Italy, and Israel.
She developed a passion for geology late in life and has slowly earned a geology degree. Fortunately, she lives in Arizona, the geology capital of the world. She does a lot of hiking and traveling in the American Southwest and she’s well-versed in desert flora and fauna. The Sonoran Desert is her home where she lives with her author/artist husband, Ernest Hogan.
