JUNKERS COSPLAY

Johnny is a Navy veteran turned engineer and cosplayer. Currently working as a full-time engineer, he creates costumes as a hobby for both fun and profit. Starting cosplay in 2011 with few tools and resources he was given the chance to work on a team to create a promotional piece for Bioware’s Mass Effect 2. From there he started working professionally as a prop maker and model while attending college. His list of professional credits include pieces made for Riot Games, Rooster Teeth, and KOG Studios. Even with a large background in video game costuming he still works closest with Crunchyroll.com as a Cosplay Ambassador, creating promotional pieces for their streaming anime. He has been featured prominently as the season 1 winner of MYX TV’s “Call to Cosplay” as well as returning in the second and third seasons as a judge. His hope is not for fame or fortune from cosplay, but to share his trade and teach cosplayers how to make props and armor so that they can share the same joy he has.
You can find his work on junkerscosplay.blogspot.com or across social media.

JAZE COSPLAY

Aime and Lance Jaze are the owners and creators of Jaze Cosplay Studios. They are the WOW couple with a passionate love of all things in entertainment. Both Aime and Lance have extensive backgrounds in the entertainment and acting industry including film and television, music, theatre, and modeling, so bringing characters to life is a specialty of theirs! Understanding the value in respectfully portraying characters, they build the majority of their costumes from scratch. In addition to their own cosplays, they also design and build custom costumes and props for production studios.

On a more personal note, both Aime and Lance love binge watching their favorite shows on Netflix and Hulu (who doesn’t right?!), and with two gaming systems at home they spend their “QT” together playing Star Wars BattleFront, Shadows of Mordor, WWE 2017, Red Dead Redemption, Overwatch, Marvel vs Capcom, Batman: Arkham, Call of Duty, God of War, Disney Infinity and so much more!

For the past 4 years they’ve been featured as Special Cosplay Guests at a number of conventions throughout the West Coast, but their one and only true love has always been and will always be their homeland Phoenix Comic Fest and Phoenix Fan Fest, and are deeply honored to once again be guesting this year and sharing their character magic with the fans and attendees! They have judged a multitude of costume contests and masquerades and have hosted many panels on cosplaying, filming, costume design and fabrication, and entertainment and character building. Their creativity is endless when it comes to designing and building movie-quality costumes and props, in-house photography/videography, and custom digital artwork for themselves as well as celebrity clientele. They also write, direct, and produce promotional videos, and are slated to launch their new web series Keeping Up with the Jazes and Late Night with Skeletor & Friends coming soon.
